Our mission is to provide a safe and entertaining childcare service that caters to the needs of both children and parents. Our focus is on creating a safe, warm, nurturing and learning environment for our children to develop a healthy self-expression and become life-long achievers. We aim to give the best care and help each child develop in the best way possible.

Our aim is to lead and provide support for our early learners, age 3 months to 3 years, to build their educational and communicational foundation, preparing them for their next educational steps. Children are divided in groups according to ratios which are 3:1(ages between 3m to 1yr) , 5:1 (12m to 24m) , 6:1 (24m to 36m) or mixed group of 6:1.

The children engage into carefully planned yet unstructured activities where they can interact freely whilst learning through play. We plan our themes together, keeping in mind each child's interests and needs. Our day is packed with fun filled activities, which further more include outdoor play and naptime. Potty and diaper changing is provided for throughout the day. We enjoy engaging Role play and Story time amongst other activites, to enable the children's cognitive, gross motor, sensory, mathematical, social and emotional skill development. We also teach our little ones everyday basic skills that will definitely help them when they start kinder school.

Our mission is to always provide our little ones with love and care and to make them feel safe. We value all children as individuals and we offer them all the necessary respect and attention with care individually. We work hand in hand with parents to provide individualised activities, to help each child flourish in the best way possible. Communication is a very important point for us, as we strive to give you the best feedback possible.

We understand that intially parting with your child is difficult, but we promise to assist you with this transition. Having years of experience, we are confident that we shall be able to ease the discomfort of this change in routine, for both you and your little one.

L’Ecole Childcare Centres opened their doors at their first Centre at 145 Bartholomew Street, Hal-Qormi in 2011. Our inspiration for opening a childcare centre was our devotion for childcaring and to answer a growing need in the community to offer safety and care to children. L’Ecole Qormi centre has a cosy, safe and happy environment. Our team consists of carers with years of experience and dedication.

In 2014, the government’s Free Childcare Scheme was introduced to encourage parents to enter or re-enter the labour market, making childcare more affordable for parents. The scheme led to a boom of both supply and demand for childcare centres. All our centres are registered and licensed; people may apply with us by enrolling in the free childcare scheme or by fee.

In 2015 we opened our second branch in 93, Triq Frans Sammut, Haz Żebbuġ, our largest childcare centre! L’Ecole Żebbuġ is stationed close to the Haz-Żebbuġ town centre and opposite the St. Ignatious Primary school. The atmosphere at L’Ecole Żebbuġ is happy, safe, and homely. We aim to be one happy family for you and our little ones. Our team of carers is a perfect combination of experience, different ages and cultures, making it a fun, learning atmosphere each and every day.

Our third branch is located at 6, Triq Il-Hsad in Siġġiewi. L’Ecole Siġġiewi started operating in September 2017. L´Ecole Siġġiewi is state-of-the-art with a colourful, stimulating, safe, bright and airy atmosphere.

In January 2020, we opened the doors of our fourth centre. This time in Msida, at 30, Triq Gioacchino Navarro. L’Ecole Msida is perfectly situated close to the Msida harbor. The Centre is designer made and equipped with everything the children and the carers need for entertainment and education during their days at L’Ecole.

In June 2020, our flagship childcare centre opened for the first time, L’Ecole Blata L-Bajda. Our Blata L-Bajda centre is situated at Mont Borg, Triq Joe Sciberras, next to St Martin’s Institute of Higher Education on the outskirts of Hamrun. L’Ecole Blata L-Bajda is an ultra-modern childcare centre divided into comfortable sized sections, designed with the children’s needs in mind and equipped with the best available resources around. Truly a one of a kind childcare center in Malta. Our newest addition is the L’Ecole Spinola St. Julians, situated right next to the St. Julian’s Parish Church. The center’s layout is a fully open layout designed with a Scandinavian model of childcare layouts in mind. It is furnished with wooden furniture and wooden toys all child care certified. The outdoor area is a large beautiful area equipped with outdoor childcare furniture and toys for waterplay and roleplay.

Each of our L’Ecole centers have their special identity that makes them unique from one another. Despite that, we guarantee that each of our centers operate under the same policies and procedures, which is our guarantee for each and every one of our children to get to experience the full L’Ecole experience.
