“This place was like a second home to Diego and our family for almost three years. From the first time we walked through that orange door (which was green back then) - we immediately fell in love with the place. I remember people calling me nuts because I drove all the way from Fgura to Zebbug everyday, then back to work at SmartCity, and again in the evening to pick Diego up. But L'Ecole Childcare Centres was the only place I felt Diego would be safe. It was so hard for me to let him go when he was only 5months old, but Ms. Bettina and all her staff made it so easy for me and my mind was always at rest knowing that Diego was well taken care of. L’Ecole played a big role in our journey with autism. Diego started his diagnostic process while he was still attending there and it was thanks to their guidance that we gave Diego such an early intervention. While L’Ecole was a second home for us, the carers were like a second family. Their love for Diego was so obvious, even by the way they used to greet him in the morning.
